Rapssamen - Bestimmung des Glucosinolatgehaltes - Teil 1: HPLC-Verfahren (ISO 9167-1:1992 + Amd 1:2013); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 9167-1:1995 + A1:2013
Overview
DIN EN ISO 9167-1 specifies a method for the determination of the content of the different glucosinolates in rapeseeds (colza) using high-performance liquid chromatography. This method does not determine glucosinolates which are substituted on the glucose molecule, but these compounds are of little importance in commercial rapeseed. DIN EN ISO 9167-1:2013 includes the text of ISO 9167-1:1992 which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 34/SC 2 "Oleaginous seeds and fruits and oilseed meals" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) and has been identically adopted as a European Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 307 "Oilseeds, vegetable and animal fats and oils and their by-products - Methods of sampling and analysis" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) as has been Amendment 1 (ISO 9167-1:1992/Amd 1:2013). This Amendment includes a revised formula for the calculation of the content of each glucosinolate as well as a supplemented list of variables. On the national level, the committee responsible for the preparation of the standard is NA 057-05-05 AA "Gemeinschaftsausschuss für die Analytik von Fetten, Ölen, Fettprodukten, verwandten Stoffen und Rohstoffen (GA Fett)" ("Joint Committee for the analysis of fats, oil, fat products, related substances and raw materials") of the German Society for Fat Science (DGF) and the DIN Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL).
