Overview
This document specifies a method for the determination of methylen-urea (MU) oligomers in inorganic fertilizers using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The method is applicable to all fertilizers which do not contain interfering organic compounds. This document has been prepared in Working Group WG 7 "Inorganic fertilizers and inhibitors" of Technical Committee 260 "Fertilizers and lime fertilizers". NA 057-03-02 AA "Düngemittel" ("Fertilizers") at DIN Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL) is responsible for this document.
