National committee for European and international standardisation in the field of fertilisers. This includes sampling and testing methods for mineral, organic and organo-mineral fertilisers as well as liming materials. German experts participate in the working groups of CEN/TC 260 "Fertilizers and liming materials" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The European standardization work mainly deals with standardization mandates from the European Commission and EFTA (mandates M/335, M/418, M/454 and, currently in progress, M/564). The standardisation work is carried out in close cooperation with VDLUFA. The chairman of the national committee is Dr. Jörn Breuer (Landwirtschaftliches Technologiezentrum Augustenberg).
