Classification methods for evaluation of random vibrations - Part 1: Fundamentals of the classification of random vibrations - Reversal point sequence
Abstract
According to DIN 45667-1, measurement signals with changing amplitudes and mean values can be processed in such a way that a sequence of reversal points is available, which can then be classified. The counting methods are explained below using an oscillating load. The counting methods are also suitable for processing any time functions. Part 1 explains the terms used and describes the conversion of an analog or digital measurement signal into a reversal point sequence. The scope of this standard is limited to the classification of a single measurand. Multi-channel measurement signals are not part of this standard.
