Abstract

This document specifies the dimensional change (shrinkage or length) of fabrics caused by repeated wetting and drying during use. This document is applicable to heavy fabrics (e.g. fabrics for tarpaulins, tents and awnings and other fabrics exposed to the weather) with a basis weight of more than 350 g/m^2, provided they are not generally used for clothing purposes, and to fabrics with a heavy fabric character.
