Abstract

This document specifies a method for the determination of the dimensions, volume and the bulk density of pre-shaped and non pre-shaped plugs. NOTE This method has been validated in an interlaboratory study with specific products (mineral wool, synthetic material, irregular shaped specimen of organic components, coir pressed tablet [before and after reconstitution], paper plug and plug holder) that were present on the market during the study (Annex A).
