Vapour products - Analytical method to measure metals of e-vapor product emissions
Abstract
This document specifies a method for the determination of selected metals in e-vapor product emissions. Selected metals are (to be confirmed): Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Lead (Pb), Nickel (Ni), Silver (Ag), Tin (Sn), Zinc (Zn). Other metals of potential significance as a contaminant or leachable from components of the vapour product: Beryllium (Be), Aluminium (Al), Titanium (Ti), Manganese (Mn), Cobalt (Co), Selenium (Se), Strontium (Sr), Zirconium (Zr), Molybdenum (Mo), Tungsten (W), Gold (Au), Mercury (Hg). The necessity to determine these metals requires further discussion, which may require the project to have a limited scope.
