The committee is responsible for the standardization of testing the bactericidal, mycobactericidal, sporicidal, fungicidal and/or virucidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in veterinary, food, industrial, domestic and institutional fields.
The committee represents the German interests in standardization at the European level.
