Overview
This document specifies a method for determining the rotational resistance of axially loaded rolling bearings as a function of the lubricating grease used for their lubrication at temperatures down to -73°C. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-52 AA "Schmierfette: Anforderungen und Prüfung" ("Lubricating greases: requirements and testing") at Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
