This document specifies a test method determining the tendency of deposits to form in exhaust turbochargers and intercoolers of supercharged diesel engines. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-61 AA "Prüfung von Schmierölen, sonstigen Ölen und Paraffinen" ("Testing of lubricating oils, other oils and Paraffin") of Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
