This document specifies a qualitative test method for determining the copper corrosion behaviour of lubricating oils and cooling fluids for use in electric drives. This document was developed by Working Committee NA 062-06-53 AA "Elektrische Eigenschaften von Schmierstoffen" ("Electrical properties of lubricants") of Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
