Overview
This document applies to the derivation of expected rusting based on the corrosivity of water (sum of evaluation factors W0) in accordance with DIN 50929-3:2024-05, 7.1.2 or DIN 50929-3:2024-05, Table 8. This allows for the estimation of the service life and lifespan of a structure or structural component made of structural steel. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-01-71 AA "Korrosion und Korrosionsschutz" ("Corrosion and corrosion protection") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
