This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-61 AA "Prüfung von Schmierölen, sonstigen Ölen und Paraffinen" ("Testing of lubricating oils, other oils and paraffin") of Technical Committee "Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM)" ("Standardization of mineral oils and combustible materials") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies a method for the determination of viscosity temperature relation of mineral oils (primarily lubricating and fuel oils), provided that they follow the Newtonian fluid behaviour.
