Overview
This document contains safety specifications within the meaning of the Act on the Protection against the Harmful Effects of Ionizing Radiation (Radiation Protection Act) and the Ordinance on Protection against the Harmful Effects of Ionizing Radiation (Radiation Protection Ordinance) insofar as the storage and warehousing of other radioactive substances are concerned. This document is limited to requirements arising from the special conditions for the storage of other radioactive substances. The technical rules that otherwise apply, in particular those relating to radiation protection and construction, remain unaffected. The classification of other radioactive substances for theft protection is based on the assessment of the security of radioactive substances to be protected, using the HRQ values of the Radiation Protection Ordinance as a basis.
