Overview
This document applies to the handling of fissile materials within nuclear facilities. The core zone of nuclear reactors is excluded. Special requirements apply to the transport of fissile materialsoutside nuclear facilities and to protection against third-party interference, which are not covered in this document. This document does not contain any information on the effects of radioactive radiation on humans or materials, or on criticality accidents.
