This document has been prepared Working Committee NA 062-06-63 AA "Gebrauchtöluntersuchung" ("Analysis of used oils") of Technical Section "Standardization of Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products (FAM)" at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies a method for determining the water content in the range from 100 mg/kg to 5 000 mg/kg of in-service lubricants using indirect coulometric titration according to Karl Fischer.
