Overview
This document establishes general rules for the implementation of decontamination measures in radionuclide laboratories in the event of adherent and non-adherent surface contamination, in order to enable the reuse of rooms, work surfaces, and objects. In addition, these rules serve to prevent the spread of contamination and the incorporation of radioactive substances, as well as to reduce external exposure. This document is applicable to contamination in rooms and on work surfaces in radionuclide laboratories. It can also be applied to surfaces of objects from these areas. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-07-63 AA "Radionuklidlaboratorien" ("Radionuclide laboratories") at DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
