Overview
This document (EN 16329:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 19 "Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin", the secretariat of which is held by NEN. The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-06-42 AA "Prüfung von flüssigen Kraftstoffen und Heizölen" ("Testing of liquid fuels and fuel oils") at the Standardization Committee for Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This document specifies in detail an alternative technique to DIN EN 116:1997 using an automatic apparatus. The cooling bath is no longer operated in temperature stages (see EN 116), but is replaced by a refrigeration unit with linear cooling.
