Overview
This document specifies a method for determination of the Mettler softening point of pitch and other meltable organic substances with a Mettler softening point of 30 °C to 250 °C which are used as binding and impregnating materials. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-02-81 AA "Prüfverfahren für Kohlenstoff und Graphit" ("Testing of carbonaceous materials") at DIN.
