Overview
This document applies for the planning, construction, upgrade and operation of primary-coolant clean-up systems (for pressurized water reactors (PWR))/reactor water cleaning (for boiling water reactors (BWR)) in primary coolant circuits including degassing in nuclear power plants with light water reactors. This document applies for systems with purely operational tasks. Further requirements may apply for safety-relevant systems. This document shall not be used for systems for preparation of primary-coolant according to 3.7, for systems for preparation of nuclear make-up water according to 3.8 and for cleaning of fuel pool water. The responsible German body for this standard is Working Committee NA 062-07-42 AA "Dekontamination" ("Decontamination") at DIN.
