The European Standard EN ISO 12706:2009 has been prepared by CEN/TC 138 "Non-destructive testing" in coordination with ISO/TC 135 "Non-destructive testing", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 062-08-25 AA "Oberflächenverfahren" ("Surface methods") of Materials Testing Standards Committee NMP.
