Abstract

This document was prepared by Committee NA 062-08-112 AA “Chemical analysis of ceramic and glass materials” of the DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing (NMP). This document specifies a method for the quantitative determination of Ag, As, B, Ba, Be, Bi, Ca, Cd, Ce, Co, Cr, Cu, Er, Eu, Fe, La, Mg, Mn, Mo, Nd, Ni, P, Pb, Pr, S, Sb, Se, Sn, Sr, Ti, V, W, Y, Yb, Zn, Zr in oxide raw materials and materials for ceramics, glass and glazes, e.g. feldspars, kaolins, clays, limestone, quartz, within the concentration ranges given in Table 1. The method specified in this document is furthermore also applicable to other oxide raw materials and materials, such as fillers, pigments and refractory materials. The method specified in this document can furthermore, where appropriate, also be applied to additional elements.
