Joint working group NA 062/FGSV: Aggregates; test methods, petrography, sampling and precision
Standardization of test methods for geometric, mechanical and physical, chemical and thermal properties and weathering resistance of aggregates. Elution methods and chemical analysis beyond DIN EN 1744-1 and -3 are dealt with in the Water Resources Standards Committee (NAW) and in NA 062-02-66 AA "Chemical analysis of ceramic and glass materials". There is close cooperation with these committees, as the test methods developed there are also important for the use of aggregates. The working committee is the mirror committee to the European CEN/TC 154/SC 6 (including WG 2 and WG 3), CEN/TC 154/WG 10 (armourstone, but only EN 13383-2) and CEN/TC 154/WG 11 (track ballast, but only EN 13450-2)
