NA 062-10-102 AA “Bionics” Technical Committee is responsible for standardization work in the field of bionics. It is responsible for standardizing bionic methods and approaches, taking current research findings into account. Its scope of work includes terminology for the field of “bionics” and the examination of the limitations and potential of bionics as an innovation system and sustainability strategy. The entire bionic process, from idea development to the creation of bionic products, is described and standardized. NA 062-08-60 AA is the national counterpart to ISO/TC 266 “Biomimetics.”
