Standardization of methods and reporting requirements for metering and sampling to determine volume or mass measurements, in static or dynamic conditions. These standards include the design and calibration of instrumentation, systems and tanks with associated calculations to normalised or other conditions of:

  • crude petroleum;
  • petroleum-based liquid and liquefied fuels;
  • non petroleum based liquid and liquefied fuels from natural or synthetic sources;
  • petroleum based lubricants and fluids (including hydraulic fluids and greases);
  • non-petroleum based lubricants and fluids (including hydraulic fluids and greases) from natural or synthetic sources.
