Overview
The standard contains a summary of terms relating to processes for the field of preparation of hard coal. It serves for delamination of terms by specification of designations for certain, precisely defined connotations and better and easier communication between the experts in industry, education and research in the field of processing, mechanical engineering and process technology. With respect to the existing edition, the terms have been, in part, fundamentally revised and the standard has been changed from being sorted by topic to alphabetic order for easier use. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-08-01 AA "Rohstoffuntersuchungen/Steinkohlenaufbereitung" ("Investigations of raw material/coal preparation") of the Mining Standards Committee (FABERG).
