Overview
This document (EN 30-1-2:2023+A1:2024) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 49 "Gas cooking appliances", the secretariat of which is held by UNI (Italy). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 040-02-03 AA "Haushalt-Gaskochgeräte - Deutscher Spiegelausschuss CEN/TC 49 Gaskochgeräte" ("Domestic gas cooking appliances - German mirror committee CEN/TC 49 Gas cooking appliances") at DIN Standards Committee Heating and Cooking Equipment (FNH) at DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. (German Institute for Standardization). This standard identifies the constructional, operational and performance requirements and methods of test specific to these appliances regarding general safety. This part shall be applied together with all other parts of the EN 30-1-x series which include safety requirements if the appliances affected by the other part have forced-convection ovens.
