Abstract
This International Standard specifies the requirements for the design, construction, and installation of the types of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) systems as described below, either singly or in combination: a) single-phase low-voltage AC electrical systems operating at rated voltages less than 250 V and extra-low voltage direct current (DC) systems operating at rated voltages of DC 50 V or less on small craft; b) single-phase AC systems operating at a rated voltage not exceeding AC 250 V.
