Overview
This standard specifies the sizes and requirements of multi-bucket system vehicles and swiveling devices, as well as a data sheet for the body that is used for multi-bucket system vehicles for the purpose of communication between the purchaser, the vehicle manufacturer and the body manufacturer. This standard applies to swiveling devices for containers in accordance with DIN 30720-1, DIN 30720-2 and containers in accordance with DIN 30730. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 051-03-01 AA "Abfallentsorgung; Fahrzeuge und Geräte (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 2)" ("Waste disposal; Vehicles and equipment (Mirror committee to CEN/TC 183/WG 2)") after preparatory work in Working Group NA 051-03-01-02 AK "Überarbeitung DIN 30720, DIN 30723, DIN 30730 und DIN 30735" ("Revision DIN 30720, DIN 30723, DIN 30730 and DIN 30735") at DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT).
