Overview

This document is applicable to electro-explosive devices (EED) for the Bundeswehr. The test procedure according to this document is intended for controlling and demonstrating the immunity of EED to electrostatic discharge. The immunity includes the demonstration of the handling safety of EED while being affected by electrostatic discharge and their functional reliability after such discharge. Only discharge processes caused by persons are considered. Subcommittee NA 140-00-20-06 UA "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV); EMV von Zündern" ("Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); electromagnetic compatibility of electroexplosive devices (EED)") is responsible for this document.
