Abstract

This document, to be used together with EN 1009-1:2020 and EN 1009-3:2020, specifies the safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of crushing and milling machinery for the mechanical processing in quarrying, recycling and processing mineral and by-products. In addition, it specifies the type of information on safe working practices to be provided by the manufacturer. When requirements of this document are different from those in EN 1009-1:2020, the requirements of this document take precedence over the requirements of EN 1009-1:2020 for machines according to the provisions of this document.
