Abstract
This document is applicable to the main types of cartoners, case packing machines and crate loading and unloading machines. This document covers the safety requirements for machine design, construction and all phases of life of the machines including installation, commissioning, operation, adjustment, maintenance and cleaning. This document is applicable to machines manufactured after the date of issue of this document. This document does not apply to mandrel carton form, fill and seal machines. NOTE Mandrel carton form, fill and seal machines are covered by EN 415-3:2021.
