Overview

This document specifies the requirements for the declaration of conformity and conformity assessment for the quality assurance of software for the calculation of sound outdoors. The aim of this document is to make it possible for manufacturers of this type of software to demonstrate the quality-assured implementation of a rule-specific calculation method. This document is applicable only in conjunction with DIN 45687-1. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 001-02-06 AA "Qualitätsanforderung und Prüfbedingungen schalltechnischer Software für den Immissionsschutz" ("Quality requirements and testing criteria of acoustics software for immission control") DIN/VDI Standards Committee Acoustics, Noise Control and Vibration Engineering (NALS).
