DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection

Overview

This document applies to a sealing chest containing sealing aids frequently used in firefighting operations, and which is carried on fire-fighting and rescue service vehicles as firefighting equipment. Whenever possible, standardized tools and items have been used during assembly. This document notes that, provided there is sufficient space and weight capacity, the contents of the boxes may be supplemented as desired. This amendment to the previous edition of DIN 14800-10 from December 2013 has been carried out in order to update the chest contents to reflect current standards. The standard differs from DIN 14800-10:2013-12 as follows: - the contents of the sealing box have been supplemented; - the standard has been editorially revised. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-04-09 AA "Sonstige Ausrüstung - SpA zu CEN/TC 192/WG 5" ("Other equipment - mirror committee of CEN/TC 192/WG 5") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
