DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection

Overview

A tool chest for chimney contains tools frequently used by firefighters during chimney fire operations. The chest is carried on some fire-fighting and rescue service vehicles as part of the firefighting equipment. The tool chest for chimney is divided into a tool set for cleaning the lower area (for example, basement, living area) in accordance with Table 1 and a tool set for cleaning the upper area (roof) as per Table 2. Whenever possible, standardized tools and items have been used during assembly. Committee NA 031-04-09 AA "Sonstige Ausrüstung - SpA zu CEN/TC 192/WG 5" ("Other equipment - mirror committee of CEN/TC 192/WG 5") at DIN is responsible for this standard.
