DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection

Overview

Pressure valve type B according to this document serve as shut-off devices for the pressure outlets of fire pumps. This document only lists pressure valve type B currently in use by fire departments. The document has been revised to bring the technical content up to date, including: - for the G 45 K, G 45 L, and F 80 types, the note that these types should no longer be used for new designs has been removed; - material requirements for the valve disc with seal have been revised; - design requirements have been revised. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-04-05 AA "Feuerlöschpumpen - SpA zu CEN/TC 192/WG 2" ("Firefighting pumps - mirror committee to CEN/TC 192/WG 2)") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
