DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection

Overview

This document specifies the principal dimensions of multiple slip joint pliers. It also specifies test values for the pliers to verify their aptitude to function in conformity with ISO 5744. Compared to the previous version, minimum and maximum lengths for each nominal length have been introduced. The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 121-05-11 AA "Zangen" "Pliers" at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
