DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection

Overview

This document specifies requirements for information signs for fire brigade and other fire protection services, such as those used to identify fire water extraction points. DIN 4066 has been amended in order to bring its content up to date. The standard significantly differs from the July 1997 edition of DIN 4066 as follows: - example of an information sign with word abbreviation included; - signs E 3 and E 4 have been omitted; - signs F 1 to F 7 have been newly included from the revised pictogram standard DIN 14034-6 or correspond to it in terms of content.
