Abstract
This document was prepared by the working committee NA 031-06-03 AA "Power generation and power distribution" in the DIN Standards Committee for Firefighting (FNFW). This document contains safety-related specifications. This standard specifies personal protective devices that are used by fire departments and other users as portable protective devices for use in external power supplies (230 V~/400 V~/16 A). Personal protective devices in accordance with this document are not suitable for use on power generators in accordance with DIN 14685, DIN 14686 and DIN 14687 (all parts). NOTE The connected equipment should be matched to the personal protection devices according to this document (DC-sensitive, mixed frequency selective).
