Textile machinery - Safety requirements - Part 7: Dyeing and finishing machinery (ISO 11111-7:2005 + Amd 1:2009 + Amd 2:2016); German version EN ISO 11111-7:2005 + A1:2009 + A2:2016

Title (German)

Textilmaschinen - Sicherheitsanforderungen - Teil 7: Textilveredlungsmaschinen (ISO 11111-7:2005 + Amd 1:2009 + Amd 2:2016); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 11111-7:2005 + A1:2009 + A2:2016

Overview

The new basic standard ISO 12100:2010 "Safety of machinery - General principles for design - Risk assessment and risk reduction" replaces the previous standards ISO 12100-1 and -2, to which normative reference is made in this part of ISO 11111. Consequently, these new standards shall be taken into consideration in a second amendment. In addition, EN 999:1998/A1:2008 has been replaced by EN ISO 13855, to which reference is made in this part of ISO 11111. This part of ISO 11111 is intended to be used in conjunction with ISO 11111-1. It specifies significant hazards and corresponding safety requirements and/or measures for dyeing and finishing machinery. By taking into account the scope of ISO 11111-1 as far as is relevant, this part of ISO 11111 is applicable to all machinery, plant and related equipment intended to be used in preparation, dyeing, printing, fixation, wetting, drying, finishing and making-up/presentation, as specified in Clause 5. This standard is complemented by the type C standards ISO 9902-1and ISO 9902-7 with respect to noise emission measurement and ISO 23771 with respect to measures for the reduction of noise emissions. The standard differs from the 2009 edition as follows: a) normative references have been updated; b) a reference to type C standards ISO 9902-1, ISO 9902-7 and ISO 23771 has been added in Clause 1 "Scope"; c) in 5.3.5 "Jigs", the general safety requirements have been rendered more precise; d) in 5.6.2 "Calenders", the general safety requirements have been rendered more precise; e) in 5.6.8 "Flocking plant", the general safety requirements have been rendered more precise; f) the informative Annex ZA has been updated. Regarding the national collaboration "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss BG Textil/Textilnorm: Textilmaschinen - Sicherheitsanforderungen, Lärmminderung, Bildzeichen; SpA zu ISO/TC 72/SC 8/WG 1, ISO/TC 72/SC 8/WG 2, ISO/TC 72/SC 10, CEN/TC 214/WG 1" und CEN/TC 214/WG 4" ("Textile machinery - Safety requirements, noise reduction and graphical symbols; Mirror Committee to ISO/TC 72/SC 8/WG 1, ISO/TC 72/SC 8/WG 2, ISO/TC 72/SC 10, CEN/TC 214/WG 1" and CEN/TC 214/WG 4") at DIN Standards Committee Textiles and Textile Machinery (Textilnorm) is responsible for this document.
