Business services are primarily used by companies, rather than private individuals.
It is not always possible to make a clear separation between these two categories, however, because many providers offer services not only for businesses, but also private households. Nevertheless, according to a study carried out by the BDI – Federation of German Industries and IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, German official statistics primarily list as „business services“ organizations providing services for companies.
In the broadest sense, business services include a wide range of freelance services such as tax consultants, company management services, translating services, etc.
