Overview
This document specifies a method for the determination of bi-axial properties (burst strength) of geosynthetics. This method applies to geotextiles, geosynthetic barriers and their related products. It applies to clay geosynthetic barriers only when tested in dry conditions. At DIN the Committee responsible for this standard is NA 106-01-11 AA "Geotextilien und Geokunststoffe; SpA zu CEN/TC 189 und ISO/TC 221" ("Geotextiles and geosynthetics; Mirror Committee for CEN/TC 189 and ISO/TC 221").
