This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-05-03 AA "Kennzeichnungen" ("Marking"). This document is applicable to identification colours for the marking of pipes for fuels on watercraft and land installations of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). For the marking on vessels and onshore structures see VG 85009-2. For the marking in plans and other technical documents see VG 85009-3. This document is not applicable for watercraft and marine structures. For the marking of pipelines on civil ships and marine structures DIN ISO 14726 applies. The identification colours specified in DIN ISO 14726 for the content of pipes are different to the colour coding specified in this document.
