This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-08 AA "Fluidschläuche" ("Hoses for fluids"). Products according to this document are subject to approval; for this refer to VG 95211. The approved components are included in the VG 95212 database (list of approved components). This document is applicable to hose assemblies made of thermoplastic hoses, e.g. plastic hydraulic hoses with textile inserts in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3949, which are supplied to the Bundeswehr. It also applies to other hose assemblies if referred to in the respective technical specifications (for example, Technische Lieferbedingungen [TL]) or procurement documents (such as drawings). This document does not apply to hose assemblies designed for use in aircrafts or flying devices.
