Overview
This standard for copper-nickel alloy welding neck flanges for piping on ships specifies the dimensions, masses, and materials and provides information on marking and delivery conditions. These welding neck flanges are used together with loose flanges in accordance with DIN 86037-3 to connect pipes in accordance with DIN 86018 or DIN 86019 made of CuNi10Fe1,6Mn or pipes in accordance with DIN EN 12449 made of CuNi30Mn1Fe. Working Committee NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN is responsible for this standard.
