DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology

Overview

This standard applies to saddle type connections according to DIN 86087, tees according to DIN 86088, concentric reducers according to DIN 86089, and elbows according to DIN 86090 for welding into pipelines made of the copper-nickel-alloy CuNi10Fe1,6Mn according to material performance sheet WL 2.1972 and CuNi30Mn1Fe according to DIN EN 12449. It applies in part or in full to other standardized and non-standardized fittings for welding into pipelines made of wrought copper alloys if reference is made to it.
