This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-08 AA "Fluidschläuche" ("Hoses for fluids"). This document is applicable to hose assemblies with hoses corresponding to type E and group 1 according to ISO 8066-2 or type E, pressure class Low or High, resistance class ML against moisture and permeation class RU according to ISO 8066-3. It is also applicable to other hose assemblies if reference is made to these in the relevant documents. This document does not apply to hose assemblies designed for use in aircrafts or flying devices.
