Overview

This test standard specifies five methods for determining the ozone resistance of the outer covers of hoses. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
