DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology

Overview

This standard specifies requirements and information needed for the design, equipment and installation of non-weathertight heavy ship doors. It forms the basis for the manufacture of these doors from steel according to DIN 83100-3, aluminum according to DIN 83100-4 (currently in preparation) and fiber composites (this standard is still in the planning stage).
