Abstract

This document has been prepared by the DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), working committee NA 132-01-05 AA "Heaving, towing, anchoring", together with DIN Standards Committee Round Steel Link Chains (NRK), working committee NA 085-00-05 AA "Round steel link chains, components and accessories for marine purposes".
This document applies to common stud links of grade K4 with nominal sizes 16 to 48 that are used on watercraft at an ambient temperature of 60°C. These are components of shots of chain cable of grade K4 according to DIN 81847.
